I know of 3 homeless Basset Hounds in foster looking for great homes. If you are looking for a new family member, check out Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in Glen Elyn.

Great organization. We picked up our Sadie from ARF in Feb. She was at a kill shelter in Centralia. ARF brought her up north, spayed her, put her in a foster home and in less than a week we had adopted her. A lot of commotion for a little dog but she's been nothing but an affection sponge or a guided missile since.
