Default The Torture Of It All

Good Night All, Bailey here barking that I hope everydog and human are having a grrrreat week. We got an extra hour of sleep starting this week, because of the daylight savings in Maine. Me and Fred think it's awesome except that it gets darker earlier, which means that we can't be out in the yard as late Mommy has not adjusted yet, and is TOTALY zonked when she gets home from work! Mommy says that this is our best photo yet, since both of can't sit still long enough!

So, mommy was home earlier and was doin stuff around the house. It seemed like forever that she was upstairs, but FINALLY came down with a bunch of papers and 'aputer stuff. She told us that she had to go out for a while and-HOLD THE PHONE!!!! Looks like mommy went sneaker shopping recently without our knowledge!!! Wow, and I thought Grammy spoiled us with grrrreat snacks!!! Check these tasty new morsels out, they haven't even been slurped or nibbled on yet!!!! I bet all that leather would just melt in your mouth! MMMMmmm!

Well, before me and Fred could even have a taste, mommy ran out the door and said she was headed to my Cuzzins to work on a rezooomay or some fool thing-WAIT!!!!! If she is going to Cuzzins, that means that she will see Max, and Max happens to be a huge beast monster of a dog!!!!

Max is about eleventeen ten hundred pounds and loves nothing more than to harass house guests, and slobber on their clothes and try to eat their shoes! OH NO, I BET MAX IS GONNA GO CRAZY WHEN HE SEES THOSE NEW NIKES!!!!!! They even have his name on them! Oh the torture! Now I am sure he will gobble them all up, and we won't get so much as a taste! You don't think Mommy would let Max eat those sneaks do you???? I mean, it wouldn't be fair at all! Please reassure us all you wonderful humans and dogs, since we could just about cry!!!!!!!

It's ok, I don't think your mommy will let another doggy slurp on your shoes before you get a chance. You have very good taste in shoes, my momma hasn't bought new shoes in a long time, so I have to slurp on old shoes. Phooey.

"They even have his name on them!"
Hahaha! I might need to pitch this idea to that shoe company down the street!! Naturally, Max will have to be a basset hound though.

"sigh". Unfortunately Max thought mommies sneaks were scrumptious and he ended up having his way with 'em . Me and Fred were totally devastated when mommy came home. We sure missed out BIG TIME! "sigh". Well, hopefully there is another tasty pair of new Nikes in our (near) future! Have a good night all!

I think if Max wanted the shoes......I'd let him have the shoes....you gotta choose your battles....choose the ones you can win.
