Default Oh no new plaything.

It's time for the annual march of the tarantulas. Found dead one in back yard and not sure which one got it. Maybe a team effort.

Oh my goodness! I saw my first tarantula crossing the road the other day... It was HUGE, maybe your basset team needs protective clothing!

OMG - I'm sick - a tarantula in your back yard? I’m a wuss when it comes to anything that has that many legs.

You and me both...if Annie gets her snout on a spider I'm not real sure how I'd react. But it wouldn't be pretty! LOL

I am so glad I live in PA...never saw a tarantula here! I think I'd faint. Winston, I am sure, would love them. He's not right in the head sometimes.

My daughter went on mini vacation to California this past weekend. On Halloween night, coming down a road, noticed it was covered with moving things. Hubby refused to get out but of course, she did and took pic. Was told it was mating season. Having never seen one before she only took the 1 picture.

Yep that's them. Never worried much about them but then saw an article about how people that keep them as pets sometimes get eye problems. It seems they can shoot their tiny hair things and people were getting them in the eyes.

I'd love to hear Bowser's take on this. I think his Momma has some of these as pets. She's much braver than I am!
