Default The sweetest thing ever!

So, a week ago Sunday Bernie started limping on his left rear foot. I looked him all over and couldn't find anything wrong. We had had a pretty active day the day before and thought maybe he sprained it or something. After a couple days it didn't get better and he became all mopey and not eating so to the vet we went. As it turned out he had a cut/small puncture wound on one of his pads. A shot of antibiotics and some to take home and he is back to his normal rambunctious self with very little limping if any.

So that's the story of his vet visit. Now to the sweet stuff. He went to the vet on Wednesday. On Friday the vet called to see how he was doing. That was the first time I had every had a vet call to check up on one of my dogs after a visit. Especially for something minor. That may be normal for others but we haven't had the best of luck over the years with vets so when we got Bernie we decided to change to this one and start over fresh.

So, needless to say, the call was a nice little surprise but then on Saturday we got this in the mail...

That is above and beyond and the sweetest thing ever!!! It really makes us feel good that we made a wise choice. Mercy Animal Hospital ROCKS!!

That is super sweet! I'm so glad you found a vet that treats Bernie like that! That is defiantly going above and beyond! If they were near me, I would go to them too!

that is so nice.

mine was nice enough to come to our house the day my cousin lulu went to the bridge. she wanted to make sure she could be on her own bed, with her adopted brother and her humanz next to her. That was real, real nice. (you know, in a sad way, but...)
