It was a nice day in Cincinnati today - sunny & upper 50s. I'm afraid these kind of days are numbered, so we took advantage of it & went for a hike in the park. Clifford absolutely loves walking the trails. I wear out before he does!

What a happy looking boy! It's been nice here in Indiana too! I've been taking the girls out almost everyday for long runs in the plowed fields.
I agree, the days are numbered, so we are going as often as possible.

What a lovely area to walk in! He looks like he's smiling in the 2nd picture: "'Say cheese!' 'Cheese? Did someone say CHEESE?'"

He looks like he's in basset heaven! Autumn is such a wonderful season. Barney has 10 times more energy than in the summer....so do I. I rake a huge pile of leaves, throw in some kibble and watch the fun. They go back to it all day long...

It is a lovely park - my favorite in our area. Clifford is funny when we get ready to leave the park. He's like a little kid, dragging me AWAY from the car & back toward the trails. I told him Sunday "I know it's hard when a nice day is over & you have to leave the park!"
Barney'spal, I like the idea of throwing kibble in a pile of leaves. Clifford would love that game. Spencer loved to play in the leaves, but I'm not sure about Clifford. The leaves in my own yard have just started to fall. We'll see how he likes it.

Does look like a beautiful day to take advantage of – and it looks like Clifford was completely pooped out after all the fresh air he got. And a couple great photos to boot.
