Default Basset Cake

Went to a fundraiser for LV Basset Rescue and this was desert. Sorta felt guilty eating it.

This is going to come across as a really stupid question but is the basset a decoration or an actual cake that you can eat. I must not get out very often....if it's an edible cake, it's by far the cutest thing I've ever seen.

That is absolutely adorable – and one talented cake decorator.

It's an actual edible cake although I heard one person looking for the bid sheet. They thought it was a decoration and wanted it for their kitchen. What I also thought was great was on 2 trays 1 on each side were large cookies in the shape of a bone.

How cute! I'm feeling inspired now, but on a smaller scale, maybe I will try making some cupcakes
