Default Least Favorite Time of Day

... is about right now, around noontime.

Basset Pals, what is this thing called "lunch"? is it a Basset Hound torture invention or something?

I understand "breakfast" & "dinner," both i love. but LUNCH is something that the peeples get to do & not me. hmmph.

sitting here staring at my person eating "lunch," i tried to beg with my eyes to no avail. now i am pouting scowling & flat basseting....

...k. FINALLY got a small piece of turkey from her sandwich & then she let me finish off a watermelon piece. sheesh.

i don't like this "lunch" thing at all. Basset Pals, is there anything I can do? and btw, who here gets "lunch"?

Wworrmmie Hi! Ya the lunch tingy bugs me too -- I usually flat basset on Moms foot then drool all over it so I make a puddle in her slipper -- then sometimes I score a nibble -- never a bowl only a bity bite -- this never works with Dad though!!! I seem to remember having lunch when I was a wee wee puppy --- YA WHAT GIVES!!!

Molly and Winston only get breakfast and dinner now. No lunch. Sometimes, they'll get baby carrots or something healthy for a mid-day snack, but no dog food until dinner. I am sure they dislike it as much as you do, Worm.

Yogi and Gunny must be spoiled! They get three meals a day plus they get a bite of whatever mom and dad have for dinner. Mom gives us some of her lunch on her days off and breakfast as well.

Poor Wormie! Us growing Hounds need to keep our strength up, don't these peoples realize that?!! And my mama always makes me wait til she is done eating first, THEN slips a tidbit in my bowl. Can you believe that, it is so hard for me to wait! Maybe she needs to work on her listening, cause I am sure my tummy is growling loud enough for her to hear! *rumble rumble*

Worms! I walk around with my food dish in my mouth during lunch... It always gets me a treat or two! You should try it! Lucy throws her dish at Mom. That seems to work too, but I'm not sure I would recommend throwing things at the humans...
