My new girls

I have always wanted a basset hound, so finally was able to get one...errr, well, when I went to get her, the guy only had 2 left, so got both. One is Bella and the other is Claira, and they are 4 months old. They are the calmest dogs I have ever met.

They are very cute. They have already trained the kids to pet,hold and play. they will rule the house soon!!

Lol, they have my husband trained. He knew I was going to go see about getting one puppy, but I wasn't sure how he was going to react when I came home with two (but when I talked the guy into letting me get the second one for $20, I couldn't pass her up). Hubby kinda balked a little at first, but last night, Bella was trying to get on the sofa, and her hind legs were too short to get up there, hubby kept helping her up...lol.

They've always been outside so we put them in the crate last night, and they did great. I hope they do well housetraining. Do good so far.

How adorable! You're really gonna have your hands full. They grow so fast, enjoy the puppy stage. Can't imagine $20. For that price, I would have bought the whole litter. Good Heavens! Can't believe I just said that!!! What fun you're going to have. Patience, Patience, Patience....
