Idont believe it. they took blood and then put me to sleep and they took them. Everything went well and I am recovering at home but I keep triing top lick my wound. I hate the cone of shame. Dinner was chicken and rice anddry food melikes. NOT A GOOD DAY. i think I need to be held and discuss my feelings--OH NO I DID NOT SAY THAT.

Oh No! Poor Newton!
Newton, did you know, there are fake ones your human can have put in? That way it looks like you still have them... Don't ask us how we know! ;-)

Oh Norman you poor guy – you lost your manhood – well, if I were you I would play it up to the “P’s” so you can get lots of treats and belly rubs. I’m glad to hear your back home and doing well though…

Poor poor Newton! I'm sure your folks will make it up to you by lots of treats and belly rubs. And maybe some more of the food you like! Good luck, hope you heal up quick, and stop licking your stitiches!!! Be a good boy.

Heal up fast. I was thinking about neutering Barney at 15 months. I was wondering if you guys waited for a particular reason. I hope thats OK to ask just gathering info from more experienced male dog owner. Do the neuticals help the dog adjust? I always made fun of them before but I have female dogs if it would help Barney I would be all for it.

The dog doesn't really notice or care whether he's got testicles or not. Neuticles are strictly to help the *owner* adjust.

^^^^Thanks. I had been reading that I had never heard of it before but it has been 10 years since I have spayed my dogs. I will adjust fine without the neuticles. Hope Norman is feeling better this morning.

Newton!! i'm so sorry, my man. that's the pits.... yeah, been there done that. methinks the worst part is no breakfast in the morning~ wassup with that?
well, ya I agree. tell your peeples u'll need extra treats, bacon & steak, more time w/the peeples, lotsa attention... or you won't heal right. L&M, ya crack me up.. how DO u know about that?? Neuticles, we were just joking about it when asked our vet if she heard about them before. actually there were 2 vets standing around. and they felt strongly that it didn't do anything except increase the risk of infection... but each to their own ![]() --your pal, Worm

Is that like breast implants? I have to have Barney "fixed" shortly and I was hoping that they are sooooo long that they wouldn't be able to reach the stitches. Norman, how long do you have to wear the dreadful "cone"?
