Hi All,

I have been trying to find something unique or handmade or one of a kind, Christmas/winter related and of course BASSET themed; to use in a holiday fundraiser auction.

For holloween we had some REALLY cool carved styrofoam pumpkins that had a basset face carved into them, but when I have searched the internet for something as cool...I'm coming up blank.

Does anyone know something that would fit the bill?

This site has a lot of Basset Hound items and they can even be custom painted for you – If they know it’s for a charity they just might sell it to you at a discount for the publicity. I’ve done a lot of charity fundraising – and I’ve found that more people say yes than no.

I had a cookie jar made for Flash’s final resting place I’ll add the photo of for you to see the quality of their work. I sent them her last photo taken at Penny’s – they painted her on it and the writing at the top. You have different background to choose from on the cookie jar. Depending on how much you want to spend you can just get the “standard” basset painted or for an up-charge have it custom painted.
