My neighbor who lets Clifford out every day while I am at work is going out of town for a month. I have 2 other neighbors who I trust enough to ask to do this for me, but I feel like I should offer to pay them something. Both ladies live in the neighborhood, one right across the street & one down the street a bit, so they could walk to my house. It would just be letting him out & coming back maybe an hour or 2 later to let him in. The neighbor who normally does it doesn't take anything & I have never paid someone to do this for me, so I have no idea what to offer. Any suggestions?

Since they're friends, maybe $25 per week? If they insist that they don't want anything, you can get them a gift certificate to a favorite restaurant.
Around here professional pet sitters charge at least $15 per visit. |

Good ??-- so glad u started this thread!
i've often wondered what a good rate is, too-- have been meaning to get a contingency plan for Worm, in case he gets the runs, and I have to work. wanting a neighbor to come & let him out more frequently...
