Is Artificial Grass is good?

I have 2 hounds in my house im thinking to arrange their cage again so one of friend suggest me to have artificial grass and properly fix in their cage but now im confused that is it good for them can anyone tell me??
I will appreciate ur answer and thanks in advance.......

Indoor grass for dogs is usually so that you can housetrain them to go inside. I can see how it would be useful for certain people like someone living in the 80th floor of a building or something, but personally I think it defeats the purpose of housetraining them.

Artificial grass is probably made of plastic material and your dog couldn't be expected to lay on it
as it would be uncomfortable and sweaty! Aren't you better having carpet to line your cage with?

Would need more details. What is the area of the cage (crate?). How long are they in it for? Are they puppies? What is the purpose of the grass?

Dunno the answer, why are you wanting to put grass inside the crate, I mean what is the purpose of the grass? that would help us to answer you.

artificial grass came up recently for me, because that's what they use at my daycare (we are indoors) to pee. so i m good boy & picked that up right away, peeing on the "grass."

fast forward to coupla weeks ago, was at the vet's office-- a PT vet that has artifical grass inside for their work w/dogs. Haha, me leaned forward & peed on it. I embarrassed my person! apparently, that "grass" was not meant for peeing-- who knew?

the other time I did that was at the Street Faire. Someone selling rolls of artificial grass or was it real grass?-- was unrolled on the street for everyone to see. yep, i stepped on it and peed on it. guess i wasn't supposed to do that.

Since dogs form substrate preferences for eliminating, it has been suggested that breeders use artificial (or real) grass instead of newspaper or wood chips to help potty train pups so that they develop a preference for going on a grasslike surface. I'm actually planning on doing that with my next litter.
