Default Hair here, hair there, hair everywhere!

Oh my gosh... it's like an epidemic this year! Maggie has NEVER shed the way she is right now. I can't keep things dusted or vacuumed fast enough to keep the hair up! It's driving me bonkers(er). It's in my nose and in my mouth, and in my eyes, too. It's on the windowsill's... and I won't even begin to talk about the couches and beds.

Is anyone else having this issue... or is Maggie going through some crazy hormonal thing that's making her shed like crazy (just askin')?

ACHOOOOOOOOOOO!

I used to think that my chow/lab shed alot...That was until I got 2 Bassets!

There is fur everywhere, especially on my desk! I think that there is more hair up high than is on the floor!

Lightning was shedding like crazy. He seems to be slowing down now. Maybe since you're a little further south, Maggie had a little more time to blow her coat before winter. At times like this I just keep the vacuum cleaner in the middle of the living room and thank god every night for leather sofas. He can't even get on the sofa anymore, and it's still covered with hair!

A good scrubbing during bathtime seemed to really help get the loose hairs off of Annie last time she was blowing her coat, and then daily brushing.

Mine is leather, too, but Maggie is a habitual digger so I have to keep it covered. I have ceiling fans that are always on, too, so the hair just blows around. I swear every morning I wake up and there are hairs in my mouth.

Annie - she is going to the doggie spa tomorrow for her bath and nail trim. Maybe that will help.

It's easier to just vacuum the dog.

Yup. AGreed. I vaccume as usual and i've realized there's like twice or three times as much hair...and it's like all over me! I've started brushing both dogs at night (as in, i started last night lol) and hopefully this will help! right before bed. it's gotta help!
