Basset Hound Clubs??

My husband and I just moved with our bouncy bundle of basset to Lincoln, NE and have really enjoyed taking him to Dog Parks to socialize with other dogs. Roscoe hasn't been around other bassets since he was a puppy with his liter mates. Last week we met another basset at the dog park and to watch them play together was so fun. I know Roscoe LOVED it!! So we were wondering are there any Basset Hound Clubs/Gathers in the Lincoln/Omaha area. We would love to get our furry babies together and talk bassets with other basset parents!

Hi there, I live an hour or so away from Omaha/Lincoln, but haven't heard of or found any basset clubs. I wish there was one, I would love to take my boy. I'll do some searching, and post if I find any. :-)

You may find local kennel clubs,check with the BHCA site to see if they list any.

Start your own! Go to Do something, Learn something, Share something, Change something - Meetup and create a group for basset hound owners in your area. I think it's free.

Awwww.... meetup.com does cost money, but if you have enough peeps who are willing to pitch in, it works...

that is how i found my basset buddies. they are fun to be with because they are about my height and we bassets just understand each other
