He's done sooo well! There's a bell on a string on my bedroom door, along with the front door, that he bumps his nose against whenever he has to go to the bathroom. If he doesn't jingle those bells, he'll walk around until he finds a door and patiently will sit infront of it until some one notices.
The last time he had an accident, it was because he had been waiting infront of the door for too long and I had been cleaning and not been paying too close attention to him. that was last Friday, but it was my fault. Other than that, he's been keeping everything inside until he feels and smells the grass beneath his feet. I'm so proud of him and myself.. (No more peeps and poops that are resting on my carpet. WOOHOO!)

Oooh Hank-a-licious deserves a special treat while lying on his back, getting a long belly rub, followed by a new squeaky toy!! Just wait until he starts ringing the bell because it's sunny, there's a favorable breeze, the neighbor cat is outside, the birds are chirping, is that the UPS man?

Yay, Hank buddy, you are doing so good..!
yeah, i like to ring my bell too, for all the reasons below that were mentioned. then i get in trubble. esp when i come in from outside and turn around and ring the bell again. auntie sometimes takes the bell away when i do that... --Worm ps. where did you get the bell from? we are looking for more to put in other rooms. the one on my front door was left over from christmas present 2 yrs ago... but we have no idea where to get them when it's not the holidays... (a puzzlement)

Hank Good For You -- you are soooo smart and you are young too so that must mean you are really smart!!
I can't use bells coz of my cat Cairo -- he would just ring those bells and drive us nuts -- silly boy. So I just sit an paw the door. We have a funny situation here -- well sometimes not so funny. Cairo has learned how to open the patio door screens and let himself out. (fox food!!!!) So.. Dad put locks on the inside and outside of each door....but haff the time someone is either locked in the house or out of the house --- my huminz are always looking for a door. ha ha -- too bad they can't pee on the grass like us!!! Outhouse anyone????? |
