I just wanted to put this out there for all of you! There is a website where this woman makes ceramic dog bowls for dogs with long ears. She specializes in Cocker Spaniels but she can make the bowl for whatever dog is specified. They aren't cheap but they are GORGEOUS and if you have a little money to spend and want to spoil your basset, this is the perfect bowl for you! Here is the website:

I bought the Ear-Clear bowls (Second Link). They are good but the stay put mat has already been destroyed by my two little angles. The one draw back is that the bowel slide across the floor. They should have had some rubber feet on them.

Oh yea!....They have also told me that it is MUCH more fun to eat the kibble off of the floor than in the bowl!
