This weekend we took Bernie out for some geocaching fun and came across this little play area along one of the trails we were on that had this cute wood train for kids to play on. Well Bernie is my kid so I couldn't resist taking a couple of pics.

BTW, if you don't know what geocaching is here is a short definition:
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.

YAY! another geocacher on here!!!
I would love for Bernie to learn how to sniff out cache containers.

Sorry to hear Gandy gets car sick. Hopefully he will grow out of it and you can take him caching. I couldn't imagine not being able to take Bernie everywhere with us. We've been so lucky that we haven't had a dog yet that got car sick.

Annie714... YES! Geocaching is soooo much fun! Not only does it get you out of the house but in the 4 years that we have been caching we have seen some really cool/interesting/beautiful things and places that we would have never seen or known about otherwise.

Dude, we totally need to hook up for some of those cashin ventures! We could get into so much trouble and drive the humanz crazy! I tried real hard but momma wouldn't let me get in the muddy creek. I bet if there were two of us tho we could distrakt them. We'd be rollin in some good ole stinky cool mud bfor they could catch us!

Bernie, i like ur plan! and i agree w/Woody that ya got cool humanz. u are like Boomah who's mom knows how to knit and dad knows how to make things. hmmm... not my person tho. she don't got skills like y'alls. (she never heard of geocaching until you mentioned it)

but yeah, everything works bettah when you team up. cashin' eh? does that mean there is cash involved? ya mean we could make $$ doin' these adventures? hmm.. i may want to switch professions.

love the mud. as we speak, i am covered in dirt, and my person is chasin' me to get me in the tub. humanz. can't live with them, can't live without them. ('else where'd'ya get your treats from?)

YAY Woody!! Momma likes getting packages in the mail! She says to tell your ma thank you!!

Oh Worm, you are too funny! No there isn't money involved. I wish there wuz tho cuz then the humanz could get me more treats! But it's fun tho sniffin in the woods and gettin dirty! Although she keeps sticking these boxes and things under my nose and saying "cache" "cache". I don't know what's up with that. oh well.
