Default Anabelle's tree

Anabelle is sad that the birds ate all of the berries off of her tree. Now she is sitting there wondering where her dessert buffet in the yard has gone. I suppose she will have to wait until next year.

Poor poor Anabelle! She looks so lonely sitting under her tree.

Oh Anabelle, maybe you will get those insects... cicadas (sp?), that Rosco & Layla get to eat... they are high in protein.

I haven't seen her eat bugs yet but I did walk in the other day to find her eating a clump of dog hair. Yuck.

Flash tried to catch firefly's the other night. Finally got ahold of one and did NOT like it...he would spit it out...watch it and catch it again and spit it out shaking his head. After a few times he decided to just lay in the grass and watch the kids catch them!

That's such a sad picture! Our apple trees are very productive this summer, and Lightning is in hog heaven! He loves apple season so much that one year when the apples didn't come in I bought apples and sprinkled them under the tree. Maybe you could do that for Anabelle?
