Default rapid breathing

My vet told me that a puppy normally has rapid breathing. Has anyone else experienced this with their hounds? My 6 and a half month old girl breaths extremely fast when she is snoozing.

I was extremely worried about this when we got Doppler. He was breathing so fast! And yes it is normal. It's the same thing with babies. They breathe super fast.

Yah, It's normal. Also hiccups. Boomer hiccuped a lot when he was a puppy, have you experience that?

Winston does the same thing. I remember Molly breathing rapidly when she was tiny. And the vivid dreams they have...mine bark in their sleep

Tons of hiccups from both Doppler and Virga too. Virga still occasionally gets hiccups but not near as often as when she was smaller.
