Default Is Virga sloshing when she walks?

Hey guys. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed a peculiar sound when their basset (or dog in general) is walking. I've noticed lately that when Virga walks, she sounds like she's got a tummy full of water. She sloshes! Seriously! She doesn't seem in pain or anything at all. She's not limping, she's still eating and drinking normally, and she's pooping and peeing normally too. I'm not particularly worried about it. I was just curious if anyone else has noticed any sloshing with their dogs.

Negative, no sloshing when the princess is tooting around the yard.

Have you tried rolling her on her back and then back and forth to see if the sloshing noise still occurs? Not sure if that will work, just a thought.

Just wait 'til you start puking, Wworm. Rosco is kind enough to give us a three or four minute warning.

lol @ worm and rosco.

About the sloshing. Maybe she just drank a lot of water?

That's what we thought the first time it happened but now we're not so sure. And Doppler gives us plenty of time to get him onto linoleum when he has to puke. Poor guy. But Virga doesn't give us as much of a warning as Doppler does. And the burps are hysterical. You really can hear it start in the tummy and work it's way up. It's so funny. Too bad the smells that come out the other end don't give us advanced warning.

Just tried it and no noise. It's only when she walks on her own and it's louder when her mouth is open. It's the weirdest thing!

That is very weird! I guess as long as she isn't showing any signs of something being wrong then it's all good.

Maybe just something to mention next vet visit...as a precaution.

Very odd, indeed.

Boomer burps, but they aren't loud. The other night, tho, he was gassy, and kept turning around looking at his butt. It was funny, albeit, smelly.

Annie passed gas one night and the sound woke me up. It was just the two of us in the room and her fart sounded like a human fart! I wasn't aware that she was able to do that! No smell though, I don't think she passes gas very often...she is a lady, after all. LOL
