Yes, the "dog in the moon" or the newly named "houndish moon" is Mr. Buddylee.

The "basset moon" is waning, and Mr. Buddylee's image is slowly disappearing. But Mr. B will be back in a couple of days modeling his new fun product line -- it is going to make you smile out loud!
