We've got some Oster brand doggie wipes from Wal Mart. We have to use a lot on Virga when she gets dirty. Doppler luckily doesn't get dirt on his ears or tummy. Just his feet. Virga however gets dirt on her tummy, half way up her legs, on her nose, on the top of her head. Everywhere! So we go through a lot of wipes with her. We also keep a close watch on her when she's outside to prevent it from happening in the first place.

If the sun is not out and Mr. Buddylee needs to come inside sooner than later, what is your favorite vacuum cleaner? Shedding hair and dried dirt needs an industrial vac!

If we can be serious for a minute (but only a minute). I actually bathe Buddylee very infrequently. IF he is brushed 2 or more times a week, he really stays pretty clean. And he thoroughly enjoys the grooming!

Nothing I said wasn't serious. Unless the dog has a specific issue seborrhea, tangling with a skunk for the third year in a row etc, bathing does not accomplish much. Because they loss all their hair once a week [an aproximation only, during bi-annual shedding season it peaks a once a day) they stay pretty clean, shedding is the bassets method of avoiding baths.
