Default Murray Update- really good news!
Today his ALT reading was 300,still high, but down from 800 ten days ago. I actually hugged the vet! He's been wanting longer walks , and is back to 62 pounds which is his normal weight.

We're keeping him on Denamarin and a liver support diet for now, and will test him again in 2 weeks. The vet thinks he might have had a virus- all I know is that he scared the **** out of me this time.

Thank you everyone for your comments and kind word over the past month, it really did help.

Yay Murray! Here's hoping he continues to fight off whatever it was!! Doppler and Virga say "ruff ruff" and "arf" respectively. I guess that means hooray in dog tongue.

Looks like you were right to hold back on the biopsy. I am so happy that Murray has taken a turn for the better.

FWIW, I printed out those lovely words of gsally too.
