Hell All!
Found your forum and like it.
We are having soon our first puppies with Carmen.
We got recognized german breeders of Bassets and start now under the name :
Bassets "von den SweetSnappers"
Hope to find more information here and make some friendships!

You must put an English title up so we can understand everything. Was that one of your dogs in the video. She had what looked like a very nice front on her ,wish I could have seen more. Do you show your dogs? Tell us about you and how you got into Bassets,please.

Will put an englisch site also on, we just started so needs a little time.
Yes Carmen was 5 times on a show and loves it!

In February Carmen will meet her prospective male partner "Gandalf".
When we have pictures from him, we will share with you.

Is your club very active with shows?

Actually this fourm is not a club but a website for basset lovers in general. There are questions from new basset owners and old basset owners,discussions from puppy mills to genitic disorders,and everthing else you can think of. All of us in one way or another try to help those who have no idea what the breed is or does. There are some of us who are very passionate about this breed and discussions become very heated. Some show their dogs,some have pets,some in obedience,some like tracking but all of us love this breed.So maybe we are not what you are looking for but you can talk to us about anything and find an answer to almost anything.

I have two bassets right now. Esa will be four in March.Vinny is now seven . I,too am planning on breeding Esa. Vinny is in the grass and Esa is stacked.
