Give Joey a home!

This guy was found walking down the road by someone who turned him in to our animal control person who brought him to us. This was my first day with Joey and he seems like a fun, nice dog. I will be trying him with other dogs as needed.

He is not yet neutered but that will be done before he leaves. If you are interested in this guy, let us know.

Has anybody actually attempted to find his owner? Maybe someone is looking for him.

Although it's in Kentucky, we do have rules to follow when a stray is brought in. So yes, he wouldn't be given to a new home until the proper time for his owners to come forward had elapsed. But I'll forward your message to the Humane Society in case they forgot.

He seems like a happy and playful boy. I hope he was just lost and his owners come for him.

If they abandoned him, then, I hope he finds a good home.

He's not on their website--hopefully he found a home. I doubt a cutie-pie like Joey would be homeless for long.
