Do you mind sharing your experience adopting through GABR? When the time comes to add another to our family I'm considering adopting through them. I look at the dogs on their website all the time!

It went very well. We filled out the application a couple months ago & got approved the next day.Already having a Basset & a fenced yard made that pretty easy. We called about Cleo Saturday morning & at 11 am we were on our way to the foster home. Because Cleo was a surrender (divorce) all of her medical records were available. She was fostered for almost 4 weeks. We received a leash & collar, 3 days of her food, toys, her bed, some Heartguard. The foster family answered all of our questions, true Basset lovers. All GABR dogs are spayed & up to date on shots. This is the short version. PM me with any ??
