I came across a video and pictures I thought you all might like.

Hounds Haven Basset Rescue Of Iowa - ST PATRICKS DAY 2010

The rescue I got Ella and Ringo from walk in the Des Moines St Patrick's Day parade each year and this was this past years. You can see all the cute bassets dressed up for the occasion

Ella and Ringo are both in the video as well, Ella you see towards the end, she is the smaller one with the poofy green thing around her neck and Ringo has the long legs with a handkerchief and a green hat around his neck....although the hat is under his chin because it kept falling down. When the video is stopped he is the dog on the right, I'm holding his leash.

This was the first day we met Ringo, we took him home from the parade, it was so weird walking him in the parade and thinking man this is our dog now we get to take him home!

What a fun video; I wish there was a Basset Waddle close by here.

Well you can take a trip to Iowa and join us on the next one lol

It was a lot of fun, that is the only waddle I've heard of around here, wish there was more things closer as we still have to drive a little over 2 hours for this one.
