Little Ruby Sept 23, '98 - Sept 28, 10
Our little Ruby went to the bridge tonight at 6 p.m.
She had seizures and infections and was not getting better. She was the love of our lives; our daughter and we will miss her ever day. Janice

I am so sad for you. She was such a cute little gal. I loved looking at her pictures on Cyberhound..

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It does sound as though she lived a long life though. You have our deepest sympathies in the loss of your girl. They are never with us long enough.

Hi Janice From the other side of the world, my thoughts are with you. I too needed to help my beloved girl (also 12) to rainbow bridge last month. I was - still am devastated. Know that you are not alone in your grief and loss. Your girl was georgeous and I guess although its never long enough, we were both lucky to have our girls in our lives for the duration. 12 years is amazing. p.s you did the right and kind thing by your girl. I know this doesn't ease the pain or take away the deafening silence and emptiness the loss of a basset hound somehow seems to bring about.

So so sorry to hear this news today.We all knew just how special Little Ruby was to you and people on here. She was one beautiful, funny and spoiled Little Basset.
