Avatar issues

After more than 10 years on this board, I think I'm finally ready to add an avatar. But when I try to upload the photo, I keep getting a message that says upload failed. The photo is a jpeg, it's only 15 kb and smaller than 100 x100. What am I doing wrong? I tried both uploading it from photobucket and from my computer.

I see an avatar on your post... or were you trying to upload a different one? When they switched the site over I had to get the administrator to help me with my avatar.

I had a bit of trouble with mine at first too. Sometimes it just doesn't take on the first try.

I dont want to hijack this thread, but I dont even see the place to upload a photo! I have one that I want to add, but cant figure out how or where I do this at!
Any help?

Hey tinman check out my avatar. That dog is your new baby at 8 weeks old. (he he) We figured that out last night. I have some more pics of her as a tiny pup if you would like I will send them to you. In case you want to make her an album.
