Hello from Boomer's Mom!

Hello everyone,

I'm a first-time owner of a Basset Hound named Boomer. He's a 3 1/2 month old tri-colored, and we just absolutely love him to pieces.

We like to say it was fate that we got a basset as my son-in-law gave me a print of a basset last Christmas. At the time I wondered "What the heck?" but realize it was meant to be.

It sure has taken a lot of getting used to having a puppy again, but just can't imagine not having our baby (who now weighs almost 20 lbs according to the vet today!).

Will get some pics posted of him soon.

Welcome! I'm jealous! I'm still looking for a good breeder to pick up a puppy. I can't wait to see pics of Boomer!

How lovely to hear that you have fallen in love with the best breed in the world! Hope to see a pic of young Boomer pretty soon!
