OT:::Calvert County, Maryland

Sorry, I know this is off topic but I really need opinions. Does anyone live in Calvert County. My husband has an interview for a job in Pax River. Is it a great place to raise a family, good schools? Fairly affordable apartments until we can buy a home in a year? Hopefully someone on here knows about this area, LOL. I feel so lost, haha. Its so nerve racking thinking about relocating to an area that we know nothing about.

I love that part of the Chesapeake Bay. I'm not familiar with Pax River, but I would think it would be a great place to live and raise kids. And it's fairly close to DC.
