Touble Walking

I have a basset that is three years old. Once in a while he seems to have some trouble walking on his hind legs. Is there anything anyone can suggest to help him out? We talked to the vet and he suggested that Buster is slightly overweight but didn't seem very concerned. So any suggestions will be helpful thanks...

Aww poor dog... can you post a picture of your Basset so we can see what size he is?

Get a referral to a orthopeadic specialist. hind end weakness especial if it is bilateral, both legs, is often a back problem. being overweight only exaserbates back problems.
