yes it is expensive! he has been wanting a little girl for quite a while now and we both fell in love with the breed when we got toby. the girl i have my eye on is a lemon so we would have a tri and a lemon! i have a set of magnetic salt and pepper shakers which are a tri and a lemon basset and they are kissing. it would be perfect to have the actual dogs to match that!

I'm hoping he says yes... and if he does, you have to let me know how you got him to do so! I'm still trying to work on my hubby to get another... maybe someday... I know he wants a friend for her, and I do as well, I think it would give me piece of mind knowing she has a buddy!
I guess it's safe to say that bassets are like potato chips... you can't have just one LOL!

I totally agree! I've been trying to convince my husband we need another basset too. I also went to "puppy school" with Flash and he performed beautifully. Only problem is now he refuses to do anything unless you have a treat ready that he can see. I can tell him to lay down 20 times and he'll just look at me, but whip out a treat and he flattens out in 1/2 a second! Now i'm like the crazy dog lady who always has a bag of treats in her purse! |
