Just Plain Mean...

the squirrel that is! I am sitting quietly working on a paper, minding my own business. I have the blinds open to let in what little light there is due to the snow falling. Suddenly the most mournful cry arose... and continues... a squirrel is sitting peering into the window looking at the bassets! I finally had to close the blinds though they persist in the mournful cries... The squirrel is taunting my dear boy Jake I'm sure!

Rosco feels Jake's pain; whenever we go on walks the squirrels are always just out of reach. Don't get him started on bunnies either.

I was pretty mad when the Basset in the Eukanuba AKC Championship was passed over!
