Murray's Basset Buddy Owen Close to the Bridge

My "Aroo - woo- woo" boy is close to the bridge. (Murray, who never says a word, is always puzzled when he's playing with Owen, because the whole time Owen will repeat "Aroo-woo-woo" "Aroo-woo-woo"- he never stops!)

His Mom Pam walked him by the house yesterday- we had't seen him in a while, and I was shocked at how weak he was and how much weight he's lost. She says he has a large tumor in his lung, and doesn't have long- I think his mom walked him over to say goodbye.

When I saw him, I greeted him like I always do with a big " Hi Owen baby- aroo- woo- woo!" and he aroo'd back at me.

I was fighting back tears by the time he left. I'll miss him so much!

Please keep Pam and Owen in your thoughts.

that's so sad!! hate losing anyone to the rainbow bridge!!! My thoughts are with Owen!

That's so sad. It is so hard losing our dogs, we just never have enough time with them.
