Relaxing on the deck

A few weekends ago it was supposed to be a nice weekend so I had my husband dig a couple chairs out so we could sit out on the deck. The hounds thought they were put there just for them. They enjoyed the day while I cleaned the house. Later I had to have my husband get a few more chairs out so there was enough for us and the hounds.

OMG...they are just too too cute! Our Annie loves to sit on the patio furniture and sun once the weather gets nice too!

They are so cute. Spencer has never been interested much in sitting on the porch, or the outdoor furniture, but when Sadie was alive, she loved it. She would sit in one on my porch chairs for hours, watching the goings-on in the neighborhood. When she got older & arthritis prevented her from jumping in & out of the chair, my brother built a wooden box & covered it with carpet so she had a step to use to get in & out of the chair. The neighbors used to get a kick out of her. She always sat in the same chair, & it became "her" chair.
