All of these items were taken outside by Buddy. Anyone else have problems with their babies stealing?

Many a Hound has been blamed for doing stuff like that-----there is just 'no-way' they could ever be guilty. I bet if you keep an eye out you will find the real culprit!

Not too long ago, I went to work & left a basket of laundry (clean) sitting on the floor. At age 12, it has been a long time since Spencer has gotten into anything. Anyhoo, when I got home that day, my socks & undies were strewn all over the house!

Things often go missing around here and we find them out in the yard. Recently my hubby went out into the backyard for something and came back in with a pair of my underoos. Yesterday I went out back and found a sock I was missing. If it's clothing we know its my boy Gibbs-he always snatches clothes. If its anything else its Lily-she gets into paper, trash, pens, bags, sunglasses, plants, etc. They even have the nerve to steal these things and horseplay with them with us around. That's how we know who is usually the culprit depending on the item.

Yep, it's a favorite game. Of course, the hounds are never guilty - I'm suer it's a neighborhood cat that comes in, does the deed and then leaves the houndies to take the blame.

The spring thaw is always exciting - I never know what will turn up.

My dog Molly who passed away many years ago at the age of 16, would take things from the house: a spoon, a sock, a bracelet- and carry them out to the backyard to a corner of the fence where she kept her stash- She would push grass and leaves over the items she was hoarding. We just let her do it and were always interested in what she hid.

It's definitely a bassett game. I can't even count the times he has already hidden the remote control. Think I could remember to put it up when i'm done? NOT!
