Cookies and K9s

Last night the K9 Club at our college sponsored a "Cookies and K9s" event in one of the dorm lounges.

Once each semester during finals week, the club invites my pet therapy organization to visit with students- it gives the students a break from studying, they can play with the dogs, and we all eat lots of homemade cookies!

Last night we had 7 therapy teams plus Minna, our un-official therapy dog dachshund girl, so 8 dogs all together-

Murray is always a favorite because he likes to give kisses and sit on laps.

I don't have any pictures of this event, but Friday night is our town's annual Christmas parade, and I'll try to get photos of the therapy dogs marching.

Oh, that sounds like fun and a really nice thing to do.
