hello all. just joined the site so wanting to say hiya

Harvey is 11 months and "rescued" (from people who couldnt cope!!) - i've had harvey bout 2 months now and settling well. (Well, Harvey is

joined the site to get ideas and feedback on his .... erm odd mannerisms and try understand the way he works

(having just read a book about bassets i think accepting is easier than understanding

anyways... heres a pic of harvey (he'd destroyed my lovely bunch of tiger lilies and the pollen all over his nose!!)

Awww! Welcome, Vanessa! And congratulations on Harvey. He is simply adorable. And I guess you already found out one of their quirks...they definitely follow their nose and I'm sure those Tiger Lillies were too delicious to resist!

What book would that be. I recommend Diane Morgan's BASSET HOUND OWNER'S SURVIVAL GUIDE to all basset newbies not for the advice but as a cautionary tail
