Dozer-Digger

Last night I could hear something crunching on the dry dog food in the kitchen, but Dudley was in bed with me, and Dozer & Digger were sleeping in the living room. I slowly walked into the kitchen, thinking it was a mouse, but instead found 2 of the neighbor's kittens eating the dog's food.
All of this going on, and nobody woke up. I have THREE basset hounds, and they let 2 wild kittens have run of the house.
They are such good watch dogs.

BTW:
The problem started because I removed the flap from the dog door so Dudley would learn to use it, but I just never got it back up. Now the kittens may have learn to use it.

Years ago, I had mice sneaking in the house under the front door.

And Biscuit and Yogi loved them! They'd wait patiently for the mice to snuggle under the door and dart across the floor, and they'd just squeal with excitement over their new little friends.

I felt like I was living in the Looney Toons, what with all the squealing and sqeaking.
