We visited Sally today at the hospital - she was doing OK after her surgery, but wasn't eating. We brought some of her favorite jerky treats, and she wolfed them down! We brought some of her canned food too, but she wasn't interested. They are going to wean her off the IV tonight, and if she keeps drinking she can go home! She was so glad to see us, we took her for a little walk outside and sat with her awhile. She was still a little weak, but we both got kisses and happy wiggles. I felt awful leaving her again..........I sure hope she can come home. The root of her problems ended up being something weird - details in the health forum - but so far, so good!
