Our local news is reporting that there are 100s of missing or misplaced pets caused by the 6 tornadoes here in Colorado. One man walking down the street in the worst hit town, was holding his Basset Hound. When asked if he was OK, the man replied, "I lost my house, but I found my dog." Another woman said her horse was lifted out of his pen and set back down in her driveway. The horse only had a slightly injured leg.

Of the 6 tornadoes, the worst one hit several towns. It was 1 mile wide and it's path stretched over 35 miles. The weather service still hasn't rated it yet, but it's estimated as an F3 or F4, with a wind speed of over 165 MPH.

Here are some pictures.

You got some wonderful pics. Nature can be so scary, but so awesome.

Hope all the pets & their humans are reunited. I could cope with losing my house or other inanimate belonings - but never my animals.

Stay safe!
