Well, we are finally doing it and heading South for retirement. We are going back home to Memphis, TN where we have family. We are leaving our home in Mitchell, SD where we have been for 15 years, and that part is tough. We have such a super neighborhood and wonderful friends we will be leaving behind.
We just sold our home on Friday for our asking price, after 13 days on the market, showing it 13 times with three repeats, and two offers, so we are estatic. Our closing date is August 1st, and we have already bought a home in Memphis. Just curious if anyone is in the Memphis area and could reccomend a good vet for Bogie or a good kennel in the area. Congratulations of your upcoming move! So nice that you will be near family. That is incredible that you sold your house in such a short time for the asking price $$$! Lucky you!! To me that's fate, it is meant to be! Please keep us posted!! Bogie gets a new house and a new backyard to explore. **Caution** Check the backyard for rocks first!!! |

Congratulations! We just sold our home of 28 years. I thought it would sit for six months to a year, like all the other houses for sale around us, but it went in three weeks. We had to find another, smaller house fast, but there was nothing of interest until last week. We finally found a cute little post-war Cape with a bit over 2 acres for the dogs. Such a relief! We'll be moving June 6. At least we're only going to the next town, not long distance!
