Do your Bassets perch?

How funny My hounds aren't allowed on the furniture so I've never seen them up high. Well, except when we lift them onto the grooming table

Not on my head! But yes, mine try to get as high as possible (high as in elevation). When I lived in a 2-story, they would lie on the top step and stare down at everything. Or they were on the very back of the couch. I'm surprised it's not in the AKC requirements for bassets that they must perch on things.

My first basset loved to perch on everything! I only have one picture of him on my computer right now doing that but if I get time I will scan some more pictures in with him doing the whole "perch" thing.
Rupert is gorgeous! I love the picture of him with his dad! :P
He always liked getting up there so he could get a drink or standing on the side of the tub for a drink.

Mine love being up high. If they can climb or jump up on it, they'll get as high as they can.
