Emma and Doris

The early spring sun is warming, the snow is almost gone,
and a new summer is dawning.
The girls have been eating hay for a long time now, and
they are eager to get out and have some fresh grass -
if they can find it........

First some discussion about direction:

But finally, what a luck - a tuft of fresh Bermuda grass!
Doris must stay in line, waiting for her turn.


Wow! This is the best grass I've ever tasted.
I'll give this tuft 2 stars in the Michelin Guide, maybe 3...

Green grass must smell great. We're just starting spring here in Boston and somehow, in that great big park Franny and I go to, he manages to find the green stuff and starts chowing. Hours later I'm donning latex gloves and helping him remove it from his butt Gotta love spring!
The girls look eager to get back to orienteering! Gorgeous as always.
