Thumbs up

I am just curious to know what kind of stuff people like putting in the Kong Toys? I use EVO biscuits and peanut butter. I have also used Cheerios and peanut butter. The boys love them! I have the football shaped ones so you can't put much in there. I think I am going to pick up the other kind that have the hole at the bottom so I can try some other things in them.

A smear of peanut butter; wedged in dog cookies; strips of string cheese; I shove everything in as tight as I can. It usually takes him about 20 to 30 minutes to get it all out. We have an old black Kong that has rubber spikes on the outside and holes on each end. It was Bubba's (AT and he learned to toss it in the air and it would bounce on the kitchen tile floor and things would bounce out. Really funny to watch. Bogie just chews and licks until it's empty.

Yogi loves to throw his across the room to make pieces fall out too! It is so funny to watch! He rolls it all over the floor, licking at it and then all the sudden he will pick it up and whip it across the room!

I smear the inside with peanutbutter and then pack in some BillJack (frozen dog food). They just love it!

Mine rolls, bites and licks it till he gets it out...and he's a pro. He's never thrown it which I wish he would...that would be sooo cute to watch. Then after he gets it out, he goes and hides it! I've bought like 10 of them and can never find them! He's really good at hiding chewies, socks, shoes and kongs!!!! I would try the freezing. You might have to make him go outside for this though cause it could get messy. Put string cheese, peanut butter, bits of turkey and then at the top, pour some gravy in there. Freeze it upright of course. It should keep em busy for awhile at least!
