We went out yesterday to see my cousin's new baby colt, but the hounds were more interested in all the barn smells and "horse apples" on the ground.
Here's a few pictures of the 1 week old baby.

Darrell and the Boys. Dozer, Digger, & Dudley.

Oh! that is going to grow into a powerful one with those lean lines, perky ears and intelligent look in it's eye.
I am sure the Basset's noses had a field day around the barn!
If it's not a Basset, it's just a dog

I can just visualize Digger and Dozer with their noses to the ground. And yes, what a lovely colt.
Sandy loves Bo and Moose

What a cute baby appy!!! Love the blanket and such a gorgeous blaze. I love horses -- had one of my own many years ago. At this stage in my life, I'd love to have one so I could just look out and watch it grazing in the field -- so pastoral and peaceful.....
If stress were exercise, I'd be in great shape!

How sweet, I love Horses...as does Harvey, if we are walking and we go past a field with horses his tail won't stop wagging, espcially if he gets to touch noses with one.
I'm not asleep, I'm just having a long blink...
