Spencer needs some good thoughts his way

Spencer has not been acting himself lately - less than normal apetite, lethargic, & just acting as though he feels bad. I took him to the vet last night. They drew blood & called with the results today. The vet said the results were "highly suggestive" of liver cancer. She said she wasn't giving me a diagnosis, but wanted to be honest with her suspicions. So, we are seeing a specialist Tuesday morning who will do a liver ultrasound and possibly a biopsy. This has been a difficult day. I at once re-lived what I went through with Sadie 1 1/2 years ago. While the cancer that is suspected in Spencer is not the same as Sadie's, it's still very upsetting. I'm trying to keep positive thoughts & take one day at a time. Please keep us in your thoughts.
