Exclamation

Emma at the race track!</span>

At the starting grid - just like the dragsters align at the Christmas tree:

And the start has gone!

Despite having studs, the big momentum makes her spin:

Some minor skin problems, everything is going in each direction..

Top speed is obtained - about 3 mph

Passing by the photographer as a lightning:

The airflow going under the body creates so too much lift

Emma is such a beauty!
I was going through some of the old posts and was sooooooo disappointed to see that all the pictures from the Emma and Doris stories are no longer there.

The last one is the best--nothing like an updraft to shoot you across the finish line!

Emma!
The reason I stopped you is because radar has indicated your speed to be exceeding the posted Hound limit and I see your Hound registration, on your collar, has expired, and I detect the odor of Hound biscuits on your breath--how many have you had before you began ice racing today?...........I will release you with only a warning this time just beware of other traffic on the ice today and I am glad to see you have your Hound-ice and snow paw studs in place so waddle safely and have a nice day!

Loved the pictures and captions.

Don, I sure am glad you pulled Miss Emma over and warned her about exceeding the ice racing speed on the track. We sure don't want that lovely lady to skid into a tail spin!!

Being from the great state of Indiana, home of the Indianapolis 500, I am always interested in an exciting race. Only thing missing is the drink of milk at the completion of the race, maybe a biscut would be more appriciated! Love to see pictures of the girls from across the pond!

I noticed that her 'chute did not deploy when she crossed the finish line. That's a safety violation for sure.
