basset on craigs list!!!

I was told of a basset on craigs list!

I thought they weren't supposed to be selling pets! I know they call it a rehoming fee, but isn't this a no-no?

How old is it? Is it a puppy? How much is the rehoming fee? Often times the rehoming fee includes a crate, toys, and other stuff. These will tell you if it's being sold rather than rehomed.

Which city did you find her on? Did you contact a local rescue to see if maybe they can take her?

This is the rule on animals on Craigslist:

no pet sales or breeding please -- rehoming with small adoption fee OK

I did a goggle search of bassets on craigslist and found quite a few not counting the rescuse groups and lost post:
